Happy Wednesday lovely! I hope you’ve been having an amazing first half of the week! A couple months ago, I had a surprise email pop up in my inbox from San Antonio Weddings Magazine. The editor wanted to get in touch to let me know that the wedding of one of my sweet couples in April was being featured that day! Such a great surprise right!

But today, since I haven’t blogged Josie & Allen’s wedding yet, I’m so excited to share some favorites from their wedding day!
It was really important to Josie and Allen to have their day be an intimate, special and meaningful time with friends and family (SO. MANY. FRIENDS! and people there in loving support of these two, it was beautiful). And their day was just that- full of family, friends, joyful tears, and a ton of laughter.
Their Spring wedding took place at The Oaks At Boerne in the beautiful Texas hill country of Boerne, Texas. With lots of greenery, pink florals, and a delicate lace bridal gown, this occasion was the perfect balance of romantic, classic and rustic. Oh and- you HAVE to see their vintage red getaway car!

Look at that ceremony space! So gorgeous! If you are a bride-to-be reading this and haven’t picked your venue yet, I highly suggest visiting The Oaks At Boerne! It offers such a beautiful backdrop for your special day!
Allen walked his mom and soon to be mother-in-law down the aisle to “Stayin’ Alive” (Ah ah ah ah stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive!)…and Josie’s brother made his hilarious appearance as the flower…man? would you call it? lol… pure fun my friends!
One of my absolute favorite moments to photograph on a wedding day- right here… The father of the bride’s proud expressions as he walks his little girl down the aisle, the bride’s emotion as she walks towards her soon-to-be husband, and the groom’s expression as he sees his bride…ugh cue the tears!
Their fur baby, Nala, loyally stood in as ring-bearer and never left their side as they said their vows to each other

To these two beautiful souls- Congratulations Josie and Allen! I wish you the happiest life together and I was beyond honored to be a part of your special day <3
