Shahaf and Ben’s wedding day makes me SO HAPPY! This was such a wonderful day; a day that spoke straight to my heart in so many ways.
Shahaf and Ben are fellow Californians! Both attending med school in Southern California, they planned their wedding in Texas where more family could join the celebration. Spending a day with so many of their friends and family members who traveled in from my home state was a lot of fun- I forgot how much I missed talking about familiar freeways and cities and beaches; the names of California things I hadn’t heard in conversation in a while.
Shahaf’s wedding vision was a romantic occasion ALL OUTDOORS- another reason why I loved this day so much. With such unpredictable weather in Texas, I don’t see too many outdoor receptions. But Shahaf’s California heart wanted everything outside and the gorgeous 75 degree weather gave us a beautiful ceremony in the sunshine and a party to celebrate under the stars. The ambience of this wedding day was unmatched!
Shahaf’s family is Jewish and their wedding day contained so many traditional Jewish wedding elements that made this day truly and beautifully unique. See the chuppah they had designed for the ceremony!
The design- brought to life by Keri with All In The Details Events– was the perfect mix of rustic elegance, boho and romantic with pinks, purples, and accents of gold. Colorful florals and greenery- masterfully created by Evember Floral- were stunning in the space. And the PARTY under the string lights and stars was one that I will never forget.
Can I just say…give me alllll the outdoor weddings! I hope you enjoy Shahaf and Ben’s romantic wedding day.
