Sharing a wedding day today that had us feeling like we were in a fairytale- Indie and Wes’s wedding at the St. Anthony Hotel in downtown San Antonio was a day where every single detail was carefully planned to create a day of absolute elegance!
The St. Anthony Luxury Boutique Hotel could not showcase old world San Antonio elegance any more perfectly. With the original chandeliers and woodwork kept intact throughout the hotel, it exudes luxury from another era. This was the perfect backdrop for Indie and Wes’s wedding day.
Indie’s favorite color is green. She loves green so much that her custom engagement ring features a big emerald at its center. You’ll quickly see why green is a perfect favorite color match for this downtown San Antonio hotel.
One of the iconic parts of the St. Anthony Hotel is the Peacock Alley, it’s lounge hallway area with signature {green} carpets, striking artwork on the walls, plush furniture, chandeliers and ornate grand pianos. This part of the hotel inspired many of Indie’s bridal details including her Save the Dates and invitation envelopes, custom designed by Andrea Shields Illustration.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen wore classic all black but a modern twist was added with lots of colorful flowers. Wait until you see Indie’s CASCADING bouquet by the masters over at Wolf Weddings…it’s a bouquet straight out of a dream.
Their ceremony took place in the Peraux Room- the twinkling chandeliers and soft light created a romantic ambiance for their indoor ceremony- and was followed by guests enjoying cocktail hour in the iconic Peacock Alley while we took photos with the bride and groom up on the Sky Terrace rooftop. If I had to choose an absolute favorite place for photos, I think it would be this rooftop. There is something so perfect about the colors and light there that I love!
The wedding reception was in an incredible ballroom called the Anacacho ballroom, known to have hosted presidents and royalty in the past. With more chandeliers, tons of flowers, and a PARTY to celebrate Indie and Wes, this was truly a perfect day with them.
