Today I’m so excited to share with you some of my favorites from Kelly and Shannon’s anniversary session. But first I’ve gotta start by asking this question- Can >> destination anniversary sessions << PU-LEASE become a more popular thing?! It’s no secret how much I love anniversary sessions but combine my love for travel plus an anniversary session…that is as close to a perfect as a job as I can get!! {Yep TOTALLY dropping a hint here: If you want to travel elsewhere and take me along with you to photograph your session there, I’d love you forever! 😉 }
Visiting from Wisconsin, Shannon had a work convention in San Antonio, so this sweet couple made a trip out of it to celebrate their 5-year anniversary! Kelly (who is also a photographer by the way- beautiful work which you can check out here!) got in touch to schedule their session for anniversary photos and some new headshots for her business.
They wanted a location that showed off Texas, so I thought what better place than Overlook Park at Canyon Lake- green meadows, oak trees, wildflowers, and a lake- can’t get much more Texas than that!
But what a GREAT idea right!- travel somewhere you love to celebrate your anniversary AND schedule a session while you’re there!!
