You know that feeling when you’re waiting for a big game or concert to begin- the buzz of anticipation, the energy of excitement in the air? That is the best way I can think of to describe how this wedding day felt from beginning to end. With Caroline and Cort, you quickly get the feeling that they bring that kind of energy to every room they walk into- Caroline a Baylor cheerleader and Cort a football player for UT…their energy was vivaciously joyful! I will never forget the roar of applause that happened when they shared their first kiss during the ceremony and were announced husband and wife…These two are SO LOVED by their friends and family and it was a wonderful celebration of them.

If that feature “photo” above tells you anything, it says loud and clear that one photo could not suffice to explain how amazing this day was- I had twelve there and still felt like I was leaving out details I wanted to highlight.

So I’m beyond excited to share today Caroline and Cort’s STUNNING wedding at The Preserve at Canyon Lake with you, which was featured last week by San Antonio Weddings Magazine!!

The Preserve at Canyon Lake is a brand new wedding venue in Texas Hill Country in Canyon Lake, Texas. Nestled between two hills and overlooking a small lake- that’s just the beginning of this gorgeous venue. The interior is almost all white (a photographer’s DREAM) with white marble floors, vaulted ceilings, big floor-to-ceiling windows (wait until you see the ceremony chapel!), a winding staircase, and so much attention to fine details everywhere you turn to truly create one of the most beautiful and luxurious venues for a wedding celebration in the South Texas area.

Caroline and Cort are high school sweethearts- I know…can they get any sweeter!- dating all through high school and even with a long distance relationship throughout college, their love just grew stronger. Cort proposed in the summer of 2020 and the rest is history!

Caroline’s vision for her wedding day design was to have lots of white and neutrals (and she choose the PERFECT venue for this) with small touches of different shades of blue- keeping the overall effect bright and romantic…have I mentioned yet how much I love Caroline?! Wolf Weddings brought this vision to life impeccably with flowers GALORE everywhere you turned and the masterful attention to detail that this team is so well known for.

I am honored to have been a part of this day! I promise it won’t take you long to feel the energy of Caroline and Cort, their wedding guests, and their incredible wedding celebration…I hope you enjoy

With nine bridesmaids and four ladies in the house party, we had so much fun with this lovely bridal party

If you have a minute, I promise you’ll be touched by reading that full sign above ^^ Never has a sign described my heart so well as this one that Caroline had placed just outside the doors to their ceremony. I adore the hearts of these wonderful families!
