Ok ok yes I’m biased BUT I strongly feel that your wedding photography is one of the most important investments to leave ample room in your budget for. Long after your wonderful celebration is over your photos will be the main thing that can bring those wedding day emotions and feelings back again; they will transport you back to your wedding day like nothing else can. They will capture your closest family and friends, they will freeze happy memories, they will be shared and passed down through the generations of your family. You will enjoy looking at them with your grandchildren. And for that reason, I think your wedding photos are such a valuable investment.
Dominique and Xavier had their lovely wedding planned on Labor Day last year- After a morning of getting ready, it was time to get married! All guests were in their seats and the family and wedding party lined up and ready to go. And just as their ceremony started…Hurricane Nicholas decided to attend their wedding as well- it hit San Antonio with a severe storm with plenty of rain, wind, and lightning. Luckily their wedding venue had a covered deck for their outdoor ceremony so Dominique and Xavier were able to continue as planned, but it was not the most ideal weather for those sunshine-filled, romantic bride and groom photos afterwards. Dominique was also a little disappointed that she couldn’t wear her veil for any photos because of the heavy wind.
I was beyond excited when Dominique got in touch about having me photograph a bride and groom session with her and Xavier! With a beautiful and sunny 75 degree day, the incredible setting of the Dominion hotspot, Eilan Hotel, and LOTS of portraits with that VEIL- this session was dream.
