I’m not gonna lie- I’m almost embarrassed that I haven’t shared this wedding yet… Such a memorable and amazing day. Elegant. STUNNING. A day I’ll never forget. Today I am thrilled to share Nicole and Ryan’s wedding day with you.

I’m currently in the designing process of Nicole’s wedding album so I’ve been able to relive this day a lot lately and wow- it’s just reminded me why I love photography so much. The ability it has to take you back to the same emotions and feelings and smiles of a very specific moment in the past…so powerful and beautiful. I can’t tell you how many details of the day came back to my mind while choosing the photos for this wedding feature.

Get ready to see a wedding day like a fairytale my friends. Not a single, beautiful detail was missed on this day.

The ceremony took place at the Sacred Heart Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Tx. Wait until you see this incredible chapel! It was truly a vision and the most stunning place for Nicole and Ryan’s Catholic ceremony. The reception took place in the Anacacho Ballroom at the St. Anthony Luxury Boutique Hotel in downtown San Antonio…it doesn’t get any more elegant than this day.

Nicole and Ryan are one of those couples that are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside…and I mean they are a BEAUTIFUL couple. They just radiate joy and love for each other when they’re together… You’ll see what I mean- how they look at each other is everything. They value family and family legacy and had so many elements to their wedding day to incorporate that in a special way.

The St. Anthony Luxury Boutique Hotel Wedding | Nicole + Ryan | San Antonio Wedding Photographers

Nicole grew up going to brunch with her grandma and mother at the St. Anthony Hotel and she always dreamed of having her wedding there.

As a gift, Nicole’s parents had a custom family crest designed for Nicole and Ryan, which was featured in many details throughout the wedding day- printed on the invitations, imprinted in the wax seals on their stationery, adorned the menus that evening, engraved into a bottle of champagne for the newlyweds, incorporated into the lights on the reception dance floor, sewed into the lining of Nicole’s wedding gown, and embroidered on a bridal handkerchief for Nicole to wrap around her bridal bouquet, also compliments of her parents. Talk about an amazing gift huh!

After her finishing touches, Nicole shared a First Look with her dad…I dare you not to cry when you see this!

Next, we took the ladies up to the rooftop terrace at the St. Anthony. One of my all-time favorite places for photos. It won’t take you long to see why!…

Next, we brought the fellas up to the rooftop terrace for their photos. Ryan shared a few minutes with his mama and had a gift for her.

What a beautiful place to say I-Dos…The Sacred Heart Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University

Would you ever guess that in the photo above, that was completely silent cheer? It was requested by the chapel staff that we be quiet and respectful while on the alter of the church…so we just masterfully (and silently) cheered for the newlyweds. Such a fun time with this wedding party.

That photo above shows Ryan’s parents at their wedding. Ryan’s dad is feeding cake to his mom with a family SWORD…just wait until you see Nicole and Ryan’s cake cutting!…

Nicole and Ryan snuck in to see their reception space before guests were ushered in and to share a couple minutes together before the party began.

The most epic way to cut a cake…with an engraved SWORD passed down generations in the Bingham family…

A fairytale always needs a fairytale ending…a horse drawn carriage whisked Nicole and Ryan away for their exit.
