One of my favorite things about my job is how unique each and every wedding is that I photograph. All my couples have a unique love story that brought them together, an equally unique vision for their big day, and different things that they are most excited about as they look forward to their nuptials.
While I love a big wedding as much as any other photographer complete with a big wedding party, the garter and bouquet toss and grand sparkler exits, there is something so special about an intimate wedding too. For Christie and Dan, they wanted a small, intimate occasion in a beautiful setting with good food, good wine, and an environment that spoke all about family… And so that’s what they did and it was such a great day to be a part of.
Their Spring wedding was at the beautiful Sunday House at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. With less than 20 guests in attendance, made up of the closest of Christie and Dan’s family, Christie’s sister-in-law who officiated the ceremony and Christie and Dan’s sons Owen and William acting as ring bearers and standing in for each of them as their witnesses, it was truly a special day and just like they wanted- all about family!

Christie’s wedding dress was a beautiful Mon Cheri lace appliqué gown with a beige underskirt and illusion open back- She looked STUNNING!
I don’t think I will ever stop loving these moments between Christie and her son Owen!
Christie’s bouquet was beautiful with those bright pink peonies and coral, orange and yellow ranunculus that added a pop of color. Also in the bouquet were white and blush roses.
The florals that made up the ceremony and reception decor also featured white hydrangeas, coral ranunculus, white and blush garden roses, white wax flowers, and silver dollar eucalyptus.

Christie and Dan- Your wedding day made it verrry tempting for me to start specializing in small intimate, weddings! It was such a special day and I could not feel more honored to have been a part of it. Congratulations and I wish you the happiest life together!
